Moving IN is a web series set in Portsmouth, about four students entering their first year at university together. It was written & produced by Mark Lever, & Directed by Gary Thomas. It stars Paul Goldthorpe, Charlotte Cloud, Kelly Gardiner, and David Lewis.
Hearing Voices was a 30 minute documentary made by and about people with learning difficulties. It was funded by Unltd, which gave Gary funding to by a broadcast quality camera and make the documentary.
‘Madness as a form of relaxation’
is the collaboration between
Gary Thomas and Abbie Norris,
and is funded by the Arts CouncilSouth East. The project follows on from the DADA-South funding,
and is an artist film and video piece based on Gary’s Diary writings.
My 3rd Short film, EARLY ONE SUMMER, has been completed. The film stars Charlie Ross, Graeme Dalling and Janet Greaves. When Dave gets to go on a camping trip with his former teachers, he really believes that something will happen.
It does, but it changes both of their lives forever.
My second short, COMING OUT, was funded by Disability Arts Development Agency through Arts Council England. The film stars Jean Rogers, (Emmerdale), Craig Henderson
(Making Waves), Nic Main, Ed Stonnard and Laurence Morgan. Originally conceived as a split screen installation, the film explores the trauma of coming out to friends and family.
My first short film, HE CAME WITH WHEELS, was filmed in February 2004, and was shown at the Croatian Music and Film Festival, the London Disability Film Festival, Liverpool Lesbian and Gay Film Festival and the GALHA Film Festival.
