HIDDEN – Part of Wandsworth Fringe 2016!

HIDDEN is about the type of anger that you can’t normally show, but it’s also the power
we have to overcome things.

We follow Sam as he grows up through high school feeling anxious and nervous about
things, as he copes with rejection that comes with teenage life, but gets more confident
with himself, meets new friends, has is first one night stands, and then experiences
an unnecessary police stop and search.

Which causes an episode of psychosis.

But it’s also about what you can laugh at, how life treats you, how life can suck up every
cell in your body, to the point that you feel emotionally and physically exhausted, then
gives  you something so ironic, the only response is to laugh at the horrors of life.

The show is written by Gary Thomas and directed by Tom Latter, and stars Adam Donaldson.

Inspired by Gary’s own journey and originally funded by Arts Council, this new version of the play explores how we can laugh at the true horrors of life.
